It was the 24th of May,2000, when the Rapper 50 Cents was in his Grandmother’s house, which was in Queens, New York City, while his friend Curtis Brown was sitting in the car next to the house waiting for him.
When the Rapper came and sat in the car, a car alongside came to them, and the Gunman started shooting at them. The In The Club rapper was shot 9 times while his friend got some serious hand injuries, and both were led to the Jamaica Hospital in Emergency.
It was Darryl Baum who was working for the DrugLord Kenneth ‘Supreme’ McGriff. After the incident, they were treated as well.
The Rapper’s friend was treated at the time, but 50 Cent underwent surgery, was in the hospital for 13 days, and had a recovery time of about 5 months.

The rapper’s ex-boyfriend was ‘Damion “World” Hardy’ who got arrested with ‘Eric Moore’ and ‘Zareh Sarkissian’ in order for their presence in the shooting by which Darryl was killed. Moore pulled the trigger, Sarkissian drove the car and got away.
Darryl was hired by Kenneth McGriff to shoot ‘50 Cents’ and is now in prison because he was sentenced to life. Kenneth was allegedly involved in different crimes, including Murder for Hire, on 9 February 2007. He was also a member of the New York Gang from 1981-2006.
